This privacy policy applies to the Pangolin Photo Academy, hosted at academy.pangolinphoto.com and operated on the Thinkific platform. It explains what personal information we collect when you use our free courses, how we use it, and your rights over it.

When you sign up for a course, we collect:
- Your name and email address, to create your account, give you access to course content, and communicate with you about your enrollment
- Basic activity data (such as which lessons you've viewed or completed), to track your progress through a course
All courses on the Academy are currently free — we do not collect or process any payment or billing information.
Email communications
We use Kit (formerly ConvertKit) to manage course-related emails and, where you've opted in, our newsletter. Your name and email address are shared with Kit for this purpose. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email we send.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Academy — for example, which pages and courses are most viewed. Google Analytics may use cookies and collect information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and how you interact with the site. Cookies
Thinkific, the platform we use to run the Academy, sets cookies necessary for the site to function — for example, to keep you logged in and remember your course progress. Google Analytics also sets cookies as described above.
How long we keep your data
We retain your account and course activity data for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide you with course access and support. If you'd like your data deleted, contact us using the details below.
Where your data is processed
Your data is processed by Thinkific (our course hosting provider) and Kit (our email provider), both of which may store and process data outside of your home country. We only work with providers who maintain appropriate data protection standards.
